Delete Your Account

Shiren is developed by Purukitto. You can request deletion of your Shiren account and all server-stored data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

1. In-App Deletion (Fastest)

If you can sign in to the app:

1. Open Shiren and sign in with the account you want to delete.
2. Go to Profile & Settings.
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

The deletion runs immediately. Server-stored data (account, synced tasks, challenge attempts, cloud-backed photos) is removed within a few seconds; encrypted database backups age out within 30 days.

2. Deletion by Email

If you can no longer access the app or your account:

Email shiren@purukitto.xyz from the email address registered to your Shiren account, with the subject line "Delete Shiren Account".

We will verify the request is coming from the registered email and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once it's done.

What Gets Deleted

• Account credentials — your email address and password hash stored with Supabase.
• Synced task & challenge data — daily logs, task completions, vitality scores, challenge attempts, and any Challenger-tier sync state.
• Cloud-stored progress photos — all images uploaded to Cloudflare R2 under the Master tier.
• Subscription identifiers — your RevenueCat customer record is anonymized.
• Bug reports tied to your account.

What's Kept

• Encrypted database backups — retained for up to 30 days for disaster recovery, then permanently purged.
• Payment records — billing and tax records required by law (Google Play / Apple App Store hold these independently; we never see your payment details).

Local Data on Your Device

Anything you tracked offline — local SQLite database, locally-saved Vault photos, and app preferences — lives only on your device. It is automatically removed when you uninstall Shiren, or you can wipe it from Profile & Settings → Danger Zone → Clear Local Data without touching your account.
